As a Bankruptcy Service Associate within Commercial and Investment Banking, you will manage and support clients through the bankruptcy process. You will engage in extensive client interaction, prepare necessary documents, maintain accounts, and coordinate with legal and financial professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing bankruptcy by providing servicing support by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionallyPrepare and review bankruptcy maintenance requests, and other required documents ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete and submitted in a timely manner Communicate with clients, attorneys, creditors, and court officials to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status as well as facilitate communication between clients and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth processAnticipate potential risk and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integritySupport Commercial Banking and Commercial Investment Bank including U.S. Domestic & International Branches Focus on client and firm protection from unauthorized requestsRequired qualifications, skills and capabilities
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, legal or financial services Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficientlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, creditors, and court officialsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing and reviewing documentsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with database managementWillingness to stay informed about changes in bankruptcy laws and regulations to ensure complianceStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think criticallyCompassionate and patient demeanor to support clients through challenging financial situationsProactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities
