The Specialist operates under the strategic direction of the Banking & Lending Director and focuses on execution, client engagement, and product education with a focus on growth.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with clients, in partnership with Ameriprise Financial Advisors, to support banking and lending needs aligned with advisor financial planning strategies
Deliver high‑quality, white‑glove service through timely responses, clear communication, and personalized client support
Educate clients on bank deposit and lending products, including features, benefits, eligibility requirements, and account structures
Reinforce the trusted Advisor/client relationship by ensuring consistent, compliant, and professional client interactions
Support client acquisition and onboarding of banking and lending products including checking, savings, CDs, mortgage, home equity, and securities‑backed lending (as applicable)
Assist with account opening, documentation, and servicing processes in accordance with bank policy and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant experience in banking, lending, or financial services
Active Series 7 license or ability to obtain within 90 days
Active Series 63, or 66 or ability to obtain within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
Client‑facing /advisor experience supporting deposit and/or lending products
Strong understanding of banking products and client service expectations
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and financial advisors
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements
Experience in personal banking, lending, or loan origination (Mortgage, Home Equity, Securities‑Backed Lending)
Experience supporting high‑net‑worth or wealth management clients
Prior experience working in partnership with financial advisors or relationship managers
Experience as a personal banker/customer serviced (Checking, Savings, CDs and related services)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow‑through
Ability to problem‑solve and manage multiple client requests simultaneously

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $93,400 - $128,400 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
