BCG Platinion launched in Germany in 2000 to add deep technical expertise to the Boston Consulting Group’s existing capabilities. Today, our presence spans across the globe, with offices in Asia, Europe, and South and North America. Our New York-based North American team began in 2014 and in 2017 acquired MAYA Design, a Pittsburgh-based digital design and innovation lab, to grow our capabilities around technology and design.

 

We support our clients’ total digital transformation through technology, design, cybersecurity, and risk management & financial engineering capabilities. Partnering with senior client stakeholders, you will define strategic IT roadmaps, shape enterprise architectures, and guide organizations through complex modernization journeys. You will oversee multiple workstreams across core system transformation, cloud migration, digital platform enablement, and data-driven architecture modernization. You will ensure consistency, quality, and business alignment throughout delivery — translating strategic ambitions into actionable initiatives with measurable impact. Working closely with BCG and BCG Platinion teams, you will bridge the gap between business and technology, helping clients reimagine their IT ecosystems to enable agility, resilience, and innovation. You will also support the adoption of modern delivery models, agile governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks to accelerate transformation. You will play a key role in advancing BCG Platinion’s Financial Services and IT Transformation agenda by:Leading the design and delivery of transformation initiatives that modernize IT foundations and unlock digital value.Supporting business development through proposal leadership, client relationship management, and thought leadership.Contributing to internal capability building — recruiting, mentoring, and sharing knowledge to grow our Financial Services practice.You will also benefit from structured leadership and technical development programs, enabling you to deepen your expertise in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and large-scale program delivery while expanding your impact as a trusted technology advisor.

What You'll Bring

7–15 years of experience in IT consulting (ideally in a top-tier consultancy), in a tech company, or in leading IT delivery functions.Proven leadership in designing and executing complex technology transformations with measurable business outcomes.Deep expertise in several domains: IT modernization, enterprise/solution architecture, data & analytics, ERP/CRM, AI/GenAI, DevOps, agile operating models, and IT processes.Strong analytical and strategic thinking; ability to synthesize complex challenges and define actionable roadmaps. Collaborative, rigorous, and results-driven.Excellent communication and facilitation skills with C-level stakeholders; confident in leading workshops and steering committees; fluent in English.Solid business acumen with a track record of linking technology strategy to business value creation.Entrepreneurial mindset: ownership, initiative, and active contribution to go-to-market development, client relationship building, and practice growth.Uncompromising ethical standards: integrity, confidentiality, respect for others, and client trust.-Degree in STEM or business, with strong academic performance.
