Pertemps is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist Specialist Practitioner to join the dynamic Achieving for Children service, supporting children and young people with disabilities across Kingston and Richmond.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions, contributing to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and undertaking Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist occupational therapy support to children and young people with disabilities.Complete detailed EHCP reports and contribute to statutory assessments.Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.Conduct functional, sensory, and environmental assessments to support participation and independence.Engage with families, carers, and education settings to implement tailored intervention plans.Requirements:
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.Previous paediatric OT experience within a local authority, NHS, or education setting.Strong assessment and report-writing skills, particularly for EHCPs.Experience working in MDT settings.Benefits:
