**Overview** ***** This position is contingent upon contract award ***** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Balouchi/Urdu Interpreters to be based at NSA Bahrain to support the NCIS Middle East Field Office (MEFO) Transnational Crimes Unit (TCU). **Essential Job Duties** + To provide linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences. + Conduct linguistic analysis and research on assigned projects. + Translate and interpret documents, conversations, and audio recordings from the target language(s) to English and vice versa. **Minimum Requirements** + Active in scope Secret clearance. + Familiarity with TCU's mission and operational requirements. + Prior operational experience in Middle East, Africa, or CENTCOM AOR. + Language Proficiency: ILR Level 3 in Balouch and Urdu. + Certification: CAT II Certified Linguists. + Residency: Must be physically located in Bahrain. + Deployment Readiness: Must be able to deploy within hours of notification. **Operational & Physical Requirements** + Swimming Qualification: Department of Navy equivalent to a 3rd class swimmer (2nd class preferred). + Training Capability: + Must be able to complete US Coast Guard maritime vessel boarding training. + Must be able to complete water survival training. **Work Environment** + Position may require travel on short notice to overseas locations for site assessments and surveys. + Wearing of location appropriate attire and PPE when in the field is required. **Working at SOSi** All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
