Job Description:

The Baler Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining baling equipment used to compress recyclable or waste materials such as cardboard, plastics, paper, or metals. This role ensures efficient material processing while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Responsibilities:

Operate balers and related equipment according to safety and operational proceduresLoad materials into the baler and remove finished balesTie, weigh, label, and stage bales for storage or shipmentInspect equipment before and during operation to ensure proper functionPerform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of baler equipmentIdentify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors Maintain accurate records of materials processed, when requiredKeep work area clean and free of hazards Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelinesAssist with other warehouse or facility duties as assigned
