Main responsibilities:

Provide high‑quality customer service in alignment with company standards and policies Oversee daily operations, production, and staffing for the bakery department Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules and labor assignments Supervise, train, and coach bakery associates to ensure quality and consistency Ensure bakery products meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery work areas, equipment, and display cases Ensure compliance with all food safety, employee safety, and regulatory requirements Manage inventory, ordering, and record keeping for bakery ingredients and supplies Take customer orders, promote bakery products, and support sales growth

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Soft skills: 

Strong customer service focus with a friendly and professional attitude Effective communication and interpersonal skills Leadership and coaching ability Attention to detail and quality Dependability and accountability

Competencies: 

Bakery department operations and production planning Team supervision and associate development Food safety and sanitation compliance Inventory management and ordering Customer engagement and sales promotion

Knowledge: 

Bakery products, ingredients, and preparation methods Food safety standards and sanitation practices Bakery equipment operation (mixers, ovens, slicers, etc.) Company customer service and operational policies Basic inventory and record‑keeping practices

Abilities: 

Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and effectively Ability to read and follow recipes, instructions, and procedures Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced retail environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Other requirements:

Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Commitment to regular and reliable attendance Compliance with uniform, grooming, and workplace conduct standards Ability to work in a temperature‑controlled store environment with occasional exposure to varying temperatures
