Job Title: Bakery Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Associate to join our dynamic production team. You will be involved in the production and packaging of bakery items such as donuts, Danish, and muffins. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our operations, performing tasks from ingredient preparation to the final packaging of products.
Responsibilities
Perform pre-operational checks and ensure all ingredients and equipment are ready before starting production.Inspect ingredient containers for integrity and cleanliness before use and properly document any waste.Scale and prepare ingredients according to the dough type and ensure all lot numbers are accurately recorded.Monitor and operate the dough mixing and lamination process, ensuring all steps are followed meticulously.Assist with the production line by pushing racks, washing equipment, and handling packaging materials.Ensure all safety, GMP, and quality standards are strictly adhered to during production.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any operational challenges.Participate in training and cross-training activities to enhance skill set and operational knowledge.Keep all work areas clean and organized, ensuring equipment and materials are stored properly.Essential Skills
Experience in a production or food manufacturing environment.Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards.Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.Basic English language comprehension for reading, writing, and understanding instructions.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.Must be 18 years or older.Ability to lift and push/pull 50 lbs continuously throughout the day without assistance.Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day.Willingness to work overtime and weekends if needed.Non-slip (oil/water rated) safety shoes required.Must follow all PPE and GMP requirements.Why Work Here?

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
