We're now looking for a Baggage Handling Colleague to play an integral role at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every flight is a success.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

\n\nSorting luggage to ensure it goes to the correct flight \nTransporting luggage between the terminal and aircraft using baggage carts, conveyor belts, and other equipment \nLoading and unloading baggage onto the aircraft \nMaintaining the cleanliness of the baggage handling area, ensuring a safe working environment. \nOperating baggage handling equipment safely and efficiently \nThe role includes regular heavy lifting \nThe role includes working outside in all weather conditions \n\n

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

\n\nHold a valid UK driving license (essential)\nCan work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays\nAre confident dealing with challenging situations\nWork well within a team and have excellent communication skills\nAre willing to attend a medical appointment\n\n

✅SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

To obtain a full airside ID, you must:

\n\nBe able to provide five years' address history\nBe able to provide five years' reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)\nPass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test\n\n
