Job Overview:

Linde is currently seeking Production Technician in Burns Harbor, IN. Under the direction of the Production Superintendent, the Production Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and operation of 3 air separation columns and one neon refinery that produce oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and neon.

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups and calibrations.Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and plant upsets.Measures and records various data associated with operating equipment. Utilizes standard repair procedures when necessary.Starts and stops compressors, pumps and other equipment as necessary to meet product demand.Create and execute Lock Out Tag Out procedures.Working around rotating and/or process equipment.Working with cryogenic liquid and gases.Operate plants from a computer using IFIX operating system.Assisting drivers in an automated fill zone to safely fill their trucks.
