BAE Strategic Sourcing Spec
**Job Description** BAE (Business Alignment Event) Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be, responsible for Planning, Scheduling and conducting productivity events at our HSS 12+ manufacturing sites. This individual needs to be a collaborative partner that is capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with key influencers and stakeholders. You will have high collaboration with VE/CE teams, site operations, GBE sourcing , OM, LOB leaders, and product focus areas. The goal is to generate productivity opportunities that drive value creation, cost reduction, and productivity improvements by eliminating waste and aligning sourcing strategic priorities. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Facilitate ideation of productivity for HSS through BAE, Workshops and other MOS. • Analys spend data and identify LOBs / Sites that have high potential for perform BAEs • Conduct Pre BAE and Post BAE MOS to Validate and Implement Ideation and update status. • Engage cross-functionally with HSS support teams: GBE sourcing, COE sourcing, Should Cost, ISC, Offering Management, Finance and other functions. • Manage Honeywell Sourcing Tools as iValua, TeamCenter, Smartsheet, Power BI, Tableaus… etc • Working closely with our LOB GM’s and NPI Sourcing to understand product growth strategies and new product development strategies. • Working with Corporate BAE team on should cost analysis • Be the productivity champion **Core experience:** • Procurement experience • Negotiation of prices, contracts and terms, Strategic Sourcing • Engineering, supplier quality engineering experience • Some knowledge of manufacturing processes Hiring Manager is willing to compromise on some of above-mentioned requirements if an individual will show readiness and willingness to learn and grow in the areas that are missing in his/her experience. **YOU MUST HAVE** • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of work experience in strategic sourcing / procurement areas. • Experience in a global sourcing and multifunctional Team Environment. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. • Good decision-making; uses analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment in making decisions. • Project Management and/or Cost Management Experience. **WE VALUE** • Experience in procurement • Working and/or Leading in Site Team Environments • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management • Experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business • Demonstrated Business and Financial Acumen • Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools • Strategies Various levers to drive cost reduction opportunities **We Value** • Knowledge of Chinese and/or Hindi is preferred.
