Background Screening Specialist Must Be In Seattle Area

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and strategic professional to lead complex background screening reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a passion for process improvement. You’ll drive key initiatives, produce operational insights, and collaborate across departments to enhance our screening programs.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve intricate background check cases requiring high-level analysis and discretionDesign and document new screening protocols and compliance workflowsDevelop and maintain reports to measure program performance and effectivenessLead initiatives to streamline and enhance screening processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align screening practices with business needsProvide guidance and mentorship on complex case handlingEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements across various jurisdictionsManage stakeholder communications and maintain strong program visibility

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing complex operational tasks with sound judgmentProven track record of leading successful process improvement effortsStrong collaboration skills across diverse business unitsAbility to make data-driven decisions in ambiguous or evolving situationsCommitment to delivering results while upholding compliance standardsExperience mentoring peers and sharing operational best practicesInnovative mindset with a focus on risk-aware program development

Preferred Qualifications

Background in background screening or investigationsSolid understanding of HR practices and regulatory complianceExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
