Kforce has a client that is seeking Backend Developer (.NET) in Fremont, CA which requires 5 days onsite per week for a 6-12-month Contract with extension or conversion. Duties/Day to Day Overview: * Contribute to the full software development lifecycle for backend applications ensuring high-quality and timely delivery * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET frameworks * Build and optimize SQL-based solutions including database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning * Collaborate with product managers, service engineers, and other developers to define and implement backend features that improve operational efficiency at scale * Ensure seamless integration of applications with distributed enterprise systems supporting real-time monitoring, control, and reporting * Implement best practices in coding, design patterns, and database management to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions * Apply rigorous testing strategies (unit and integration testing) to guarantee the reliability and performance of backend services * Drive backend initiatives from concept to completion including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and deployment * Promote engineering excellence and contribute to a collaborative team culture
