Join our dynamic team as a Backend Developer where you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining custom backend solutions. You will work on a variety of projects involving the latest technologies to help create innovative products and maintain existing solutions.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop custom backend solutions utilizing C#, C++, and Python.Develop and maintain SQL databases.Create and maintain custom backend services to facilitate product connectivity.Configure and store device data for cloud-based analytics.Commit to rapid development and proof of concept designs.Convert and deploy prototype designs to volume production.Test and debug servers for robustness and general reliability.Maintain, build out new features, and iterate on existing features of current products.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver reliable connected products.
Essential SkillsProficiency in Python, C++, and C#.Experience with AWS, including AWS Lambda.Knowledge of IoT and connected products.Experience in unit testing and server scaling for large numbers of users (10K+).Strong understanding of Linux servers.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.3-5 years of experience in developing backend infrastructure.Experience with voice assistant services (e.g., Amazon Echo, Google Home).
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with push notification backend architectures.Familiarity with open source technologies.Self-motivated and able to multi-task and communicate effectively with little supervision.Engineering diligence, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00/hr.
