Job Description

Overview
The Backend Developer – Mid-Level is responsible for building and maintaining server-side logic, APIs, and core service integrations for client-facing applications. This role ensures high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems while collaborating closely with frontend developers, architects, and product owners to deliver enterprise-grade platforms.

Development Responsibilities:
•\tDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code and APIs.
•\tOptimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
•\tIntegrate user-facing elements developed by frontend teams with server-side logic.
•\tImplement secure and well-structured API layers for system interactions.

Integration & API Management
•\tDevelop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to interface with external systems and services.
•\tManage integrations with CRMs, databases, authentication systems, or CX tools.
•\tEnsure API endpoints are secure, tested, and well-documented.

Quality, Security & Testing
•\tConduct unit testing and peer code reviews for backend modules.
•\tEnforce secure coding practices and data protection standards.
•\tCollaborate with DevOps and QA teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration & Delivery
•\tParticipate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
•\tWork closely with PMs, frontend developers, and QA to deliver project milestones.
•\tMaintain clean documentation for system design and implementation logic.

Qualifications
•\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
•\t3+ years of experience in backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
•\tExperience with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and microservices architecture.
•\tFamiliarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and the likes.

Preferred Skills
•\tExperience with customer platforms like Zendesk, Salesforce, or Genesys is a plus.
•\tExposure to containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools.
•\tAbility to write scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.
