Job Title: Back of House - Kitchen Staff | Urgently Hiring for Summer Coverage
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 40 hours/week, flexible schedule between 10am – 9pm; one weekend shift required

We are seeking a Back of House - Kitchen Staff member for a seasonal, full-time position for our client, a well-known and highly regarded Maine brewery and tasting room located in Gorham, ME. There may also be opportunities at additional locations in Saco and Scarborough. The Back of House - Kitchen Staff will support a fast-paced, open-concept kitchen by preparing and cooking food, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and working closely with a tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a high-visibility kitchen, bring at least one year of experience, and have the energy and attitude to jump in wherever needed. This is a seasonal role through Labor Day, with potential for temp-to-hire for a top performer.


As a Back of House - Kitchen Staff member, you will be responsible for:

Floating between fry, grill, and pizza stations as needed

Setting up stations and stocking supplies

Preparing food for service following menu and company standards

Cooking meals in coordination with the rest of the kitchen team

Maintaining a clean and organized workstation

Preparing food quickly, consistently, and with high quality

Complying with all food safety and sanitation standards

Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with team members and guests

Contributing to a fun, fast-paced, team-focused environment


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen

Experience as a line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen staff preferred

Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, tools, and kitchen equipment

Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-energy setting

Willingness to assist with food prep during slower shifts

Comfort working in an open-concept kitchen in view of guests

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift light items
