The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the Cards and Payments domain. This role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively during the day shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. **Responsabilities:** + Design and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using Java J2EE and open-source technologies. + Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Spring Boot and Java to meet business requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions in the Cards and Payments domain. + Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews and adhering to best practices. + Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations. + Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and practices. + Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. + Provide technical documentation of solutions and maintain technical specifications and user manuals. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the implementation of innovative solutions. + Ensure the security and scalability of software applications by implementing appropriate measures and practices. + Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions. + Participate in demos and code reviews. Multitask and support multiple teams. + Adhere to and enhance software best practices, standards, and processes. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of software development experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience. + Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Java, with a proven track record of developing high-quality software applications. + Expertise in Core Java, JEE technologies, REST, and container-based technologies. + Experience with backend technologies such as JDBC, Kafka, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JMX. + Experience with SQL and relational databases using commercial-grade databases. + Experience architecting solutions with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in mind. Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and design patterns. + Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Proven experience as a technologist with the ability to understand requirements and design/build solutions. + Demonstrated experience in the Cards and Payments domain with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges. + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. + Proactive and self-motivated approach with a focus on delivering results. + Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. **Preferred Skills** + Working knowledge of GIT. + Experience with test automation tools.
