Your ‘day to day’
As a B2B Lead, you’ll be the face of our business in your region, spending most of your time in the field, building strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and independent retailers.
Your mission is to expand our product presence, raise awareness, ensure retailers can confidently sell our solutions, and maximize commercial performance. You’ll sign sales agreements on behalf of PMI, drive yearly KPIs, and determine the best strategies to achieve them based on local realities and competitive dynamics.
This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys face‑to‑face interactions, and is motivated by influencing partners to grow our business.
More specifically, you’ll
Manage and grow relationships with independent retailers, wholesalers, and key accounts, ensuring strong presence and visibility of our products.Spend the majority of your time on the road, meeting retailers, understanding their needs, and ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to sell our products effectively.Implement and monitor trade programs and commercial initiatives tailored to the needs of the General Trade channel.Conduct product demonstrations, sales presentations, and training sessions for partners and their staff.Sign sales contracts with retailers on behalf of PMI, ensuring alignment with market guidelines.Drive yearly sales KPIs, developing action plans and commercial activities to meet or exceed targets.Address operational challenges in distribution, visibility, and sales by applying practical solutions and proposing improvements.Analyze data and market insights to continuously identify business opportunities and strengthen partner performance.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Area Heads, Commercial Operations, and Category Teams.Represent PMI as a trusted partner to retailers, offering ongoing guidance, support, and relationship management. Contribute to the development of the commercial strategy, ensuring PMI sets the tone in the market and consistently meets expected standards.

Hard skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (further education in sales and/or marketing).Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend most days in the field.Strong English + (Swiss) German skills.Experience or strong understanding of sales, B2B/B2C operations, distribution, or channel management.Ability to work with data to understand performance and inform decision‑making.
Soft skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong customer focus, with passion for face‑to‑face relationship building.Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities independently.Highly self‑driven, disciplined, and motivated by achieving commercial results.Enjoys being on the road, meeting partners, and representing the brand.Positive energy, resilience, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
