QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum High School diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years’ production experienceKnowledge in beef production preferredCommunication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate training throughout the plant: New Hire Orientation through qualification phaseOversee and meet with Production trainers to insure they are successful in new hire trainingBe a mentor to our Trainers to ensure that all new hires are assigned a trainer when they get placed on the production floor.Ensure alchemy training is at 100% annuallyMonitor payroll and vacations for training departmentMaintain inventory of training suppliesRead and follow-up on weekly new-hire evaluationsEvaluate work performance of trainers, classroom instructors, and clerkPerform disciplinary procedures ranging from verbal warnings to terminations.Control of lockersControl of ID issueDevelop and update forms for trainingFollow-up on all department issuesSpend time on production floor to determine production needs.Open Door to all employee concernsInitiate and implement ideas for improving trainingJob performance is measured by HR Director on such criteria as attainment of training goals and minimizing turnover. Additional criteria may include, but not be limited to, knowledge of work and quality.Salary range $53,104 - 71,690
