Azure DevOps Architect
If interested reach out directly to kspicer@altaits.com or call/text 301-252-8762 Fully REMOTE (ideally PA area) Azure DevOps Architect to design, implement, and configure Azure DevOps (ADO) to support end-to-end traceability and CI/CD deployment pipelines. This role will focus on establishing best-practice DevOps processes, tooling, and governance to support modern software delivery. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services, CI/CD pipeline design, and DevOps architecture, and can work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enable reliable, traceable, and automated deployments. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Azure DevOps (ADO) architecture to support: Work item management and traceability (requirements/code/build release) Automated CI/CD pipelines Configure and optimize: Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and Artifacts Build and release pipelines for multiple environments (dev, test, prod) Establish best practices for: Branching and version control strategies Pipeline standards and reusable templates Environment promotion and deployment approvals Enable and enforce traceability across the SDLC (e.g., linking requirements, user stories, commits, builds, and releases) Integrate Azure DevOps with related tools and platforms (e.g., Azure, Git, testing tools, security scanning tools) Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to support DevOps adoption Provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to client teams Troubleshoot and optimize existing CI/CD pipelines as needed Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines Experience setting up traceability across requirements, code, builds, and releases Solid understanding of DevOps principles and SDLC best practices Experience with: Git-based source control YAML pipelines Automated build and deployment processes Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment models Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders #LI-KA1 #DI-KS1 #M1 Ref: #851-Rockville-S1 System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
