The Azure Cloud Architect (m/f/d) is responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions within the Azure cloud platform. The role demands a high level of technical expertise and involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the Azure cloud platform aligns with the business goals and objectives.

In this exciting job you work on the following tasks:

Driving overall technical design and architectural approach on early-stage, global Azure cloud implementationUnderstanding and scoping the business requirements to deliver optimal, value-driven solutions for all stakeholderDesigning scalable and innovative solutions within Azure cloud platform and servicesDeveloping high-level architectural designs for Azure projects, ensuring integration with existing systems and platformsConducting regular architecture, configuration, infrastructure-as-code, and security reviewsImplementing and enforcing engineering standards and best practices, including the use of design patterns, code refactoring, and code optimizationCollaborating with the development and integration team to resolve complex technical issues during the development lifecycleDriving innovation by evaluating and adopting new Azure services, cloud-native technologies, and platform capabilities as appropriate

QualificationsAcademic degree in computer science, another technical field or an equivalent qualificationSeveral years of related professional experienceProven experience in Azure cloud architecture and implementationStrong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including its limitations and best practicesExperience with cloud integrations, networking, and third-party APIs beneficialKnowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologiesFamiliarity with various coding languages and automation such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform/Bicep, YAML pipelines beneficialProfessional working proficiency in English, no other language requiredPassion for sharing knowledgeExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsIntercultural sensitivityOpen to travel up to 10% internationally
