Job Description • Day to Day:   1. Review existing cloud environment and infrastructure    § Understand the current state across 10 subscriptions and thousands of resources.   2. Assess networking design, costs, and security from a design perspective    § Evaluate key architectural components and identify inefficiencies or risks.   3. Provide redesign/recommendations, guidance on taxonomy and environment structure    § Offer strategic improvements based on findings, focusing on governance and scalability.   4. Deliver findings and recommendations directly to the team, ensuring knowledge transfer    § Share insights in a collaborative way to empower internal teams, not just hand off a report.   5. Lead, but not manage, existing staff; provide thought leadership    § Guide and influence direction without formal management responsibilities.   6. Candidate interaction with senior Azure engineers for evaluation    § Engage with technical peers to validate recommendations and ensure alignment. Skills and Requirements ○ A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Aure Architect   ○ Enterprise-level Azure experience   ○ Expert level knowledge in all 5 layers of Azure; Infrastructure, Networking, Security and governance, Cost Management, and operational and knowledge transfer.   ○ Experience working with AVS, Azure VMware, ABS   ○ Strong written and verbal communication Certifications (Azure Architect, DevOps, Security)
