Job Summary:

Provide a brief overview of the main purpose of the role and how it fits into the organization.

The job holder is responsible for developing, administering and maintaining global systems for the capture and maintenance of regulatory and animal welfare information. As member of the Animal Welfare and Veterinary service team the job holder is also responsible for acting as the departmental coordinator for quality and animal welfare computer systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop, administer and maintain systems to capture and provide global access to:Animal Welfare EventsClient animal welfare and incident notification requirementsRegulator and client inspection/visit preparation/hosting/outcome informationAnimal welfare regulatory permits and certificatesRegulatory reportable data eg animal use,Developments in animal welfare and the 3RsAnimal welfare vendor qualification information and statusKey animal welfare contactsInformation on animal welfare training and development, external presentations and postersProvide support for Regulator, Client and Accreditor visits and inspectionsMaintain centralized records of client animal welfare RFI’s, provide support for completion of new requestsTrack the status of animal welfare related licences, permits and authorisaions ensuring holders are notified in advance of required renewalsProvide regular reports on compliance status including areas of potential riskAct as department coordinator for Quality/Animal Welfare computer systems including:Production, update and renewal of Policies, SOP’s and GuidesEntry of Regulatory, Client and Vendor audit information and actionsEnsure quality documentation, regulatory and client audits actions are tracked to completion, escalate any overdue items to AWVS LeadershipFollow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.Complete required trainings according to required timelinesOther duties as assigned by management.

Must skills :

Nonclinical animal experience Good verbal and written communicationProficient in MS officeKnowledgeable in Power BI, SharePoint, and SmartsheetSelf-starter and Self-reliantFlexible (able to move from one task to another to another)Good time management skills
