Job Description
A large insurance client is undergoing a major technology modernization and cloud migration initiative. As part of this transformation, the organization is seeking a skilled AWS Software Developer to join its Agile engineering team. This role will focus on building scalable, cloud-native backend services using .NET Core and AWS serverless technologies, contributing to the modernization of legacy systems and the adoption of cloud-first architecture. The developer will work closely with infrastructure and product teams to consume infrastructure templates via AWS CDK, support CI/CD automation, and uphold high standards in observability, testing, and documentation. The team operates within a SAFe Agile framework and collaborates remotely across time zones.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with .NET Core (6/8+)
- Hands-on experience deploying AWS Lambda functions using the .NET runtime
- Familiarity with AWS CDK and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
- Solid unit testing discipline (e.g., NUnit, xUnit) with 80%+ coverage
- Excellent English communication skills and proven success in remote Agile teams - Exposure to SAFe Agile delivery environments and ceremonies
- Familiarity with AWS observability tools like CloudWatch
- Experience with SQL/AWS RDS in production environments
- Knowledge of API Gateway, EventBridge, or other AWS integration services
