We are looking for an AWS Cloud / Migration Engineer to support the migration of on-premises applications, systems, and databases to AWS. The role involves assisting with migration planning and execution, deploying and configuring AWS services, automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, and providing operational support during and after migrations to ensure secure, stable, and high-performance AWS environments. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist in the design, planning, and execution of migration strategies for moving on-premises applications, systems, and databases to AWS. + Assist in the deployment and configuration of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation for the migration project. + Migrate data from on-premises databases to AWS databases using services like **AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)** and **AWS Snowball** . + Work on infrastructure automation using **AWS CloudFormation** or **Terraform** to ensure repeatability and consistency in deployments. + Provide support and troubleshooting during the migration process to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. + Document configurations, migration processes, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing. + Continuously monitor and report on the health of the migrated environment using **Amazon CloudWatch** and other monitoring tools. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** + Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services such as **EC2** , **S3** , **RDS** , **VPC** , **Lambda** , **CloudFormation** , and **IAM** . + Experience with migration tools and services, such as **AWS Migration Hub** , **AWS Server Migration Service (SMS)** , and **AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)** . + Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using **CloudFormation** or **Terraform** . + Strong understanding of networking concepts in AWS, including VPC, security groups, route tables, and Direct Connect. + Experience in scripting languages such as **Python** , **Bash** , or **PowerShell** for automation tasks. + Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and securing access to resources in AWS. + Ability to work with cloud-native monitoring and logging services such as **Amazon CloudWatch** , **AWS CloudTrail** , and **VPC Flow Logs** . + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially related to cloud migrations. **Required Certifications:** + **AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate** . + **AWS Certified Developer – Associate** (Nice to have) + **AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate** (Nice to have) **Workplace type** **:** **About NTT DATA** NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
