AWS DevOps SRE (Hybrid)
As an **AWS DevOps SRE** , you will make an impact by optimizing cloud solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with **Banking** teams. **In this role, you will:** + Execute the Jenkins jobs to deploy in Production environments, adhering to established changes control procedures during the designated deployment phase. + Validate all the Jenkins URLs to support the implementation process is carried out seamlessly. + Maintain the deployment calendar as per change request and collaborate with application teams for the conflicts in scheduling the deployments. + Actively participate in the annual DR exercises for all applications which involve simulating potential disaster scenarios and testing recovery procedures. + The team helps in running the Jenkins jobs through a series of change controls for respective applications with the collaboration with Client Engineering Team. + Handle DevOps Team’s L2/L3 ServiceNow tickets, Handle Peer review tasks, support Change Request Implementation on need basis during US hours + Create action plans & remediate reoccurring issues by following Incident/Change/Problem management process + Perform specified IM/ITIL Role and Responsibilities + Timely monitoring and reporting of Jenkins systems/Apps + Develop and maintain scripts for automation opportunities + Document best practices, run books and SOPs + Develop and implement cloud solutions using AWS DevOps to enhance system performance and reliability. + Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework to maintain high standards of security and compliance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient cloud architectures. + Monitor cloud infrastructure to proactively identify and resolve potential issues. + Optimize cloud resources to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. + Provide technical guidance and support to team members on cloud-related projects. + Conduct regular assessments of cloud systems to ensure alignment with business objectives. + Implement automation tools to streamline cloud operations and reduce manual intervention. + Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement. + Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions. + Document cloud processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. + Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and tools to enhance the company's technology stack. + Support the integration of cloud solutions with existing systems to ensure seamless operations. **Work model:** At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs. The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 – $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
