Cloud Migration & Architecture:
Architect, automate, and lead the migration of production workloads from GCP to AWS.
Analyze existing GCP infrastructure and design equivalent or improved AWS architectures.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, enabling repeatable and auditable deployments.
Maintain version-controlled infrastructure repositories and implement infrastructure change automation.
CI/CD & Automation:
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment processes.
Monitoring & Reliability:
Implement monitoring, logging, and ing strategies using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-hosted services.
Security & Compliance:
Enforce best practices for cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance.
Collaborate with security teams to monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities and risks.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with developers, architects, and security teams to streamline migration and post-migration support.
Maintain thorough documentation for cloud architecture, migration plans, runbooks, and SOPs.
Provide insights and recommendations for post-migration optimization and cost management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
7+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Proven hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP, including cloud migration projects.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced skills in Terraform for infrastructure automation and state management.
Strong scripting abilities using Python.
Proficiency in AWS services such as:
EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, VPC, CloudWatch
Experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, and IAM.
Cloud-Native & DevOps Tools:
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Solid understanding of cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer
Bonus Experience:
Working knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with observability platforms like Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Grafana.
Background in FinTech, SaaS, or other regulated industries is a plus
