You Are:

UST is seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to support cloud transformation initiatives. This role will focus on infrastructure automation, cloud-native operations, and compliance-driven delivery across business units. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS, DevOps practices, and infrastructure management, with a strong understanding of backup strategies, storage platforms, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

 

The opportunity:

·         Design and implement reusable IaC modules using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

·         Automate provisioning of AWS resources including EC2, S3, FSxN, RDS, and VPCs.

·         Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps workflows.

·         Collaborate with cloud team to configure EKS, ALB, API Gateway, and ElasticSearch.

·         Implement and support backup and restore strategies aligned with cloud policy plans.

·         Manage storage patterns including SMB to FSxN migrations and S3 Glacier integrations.

·         Ensure adherence to HIPAA, PII, and other compliance standards relevant to healthcare and financial domains.

·         Apply IAM policies, encryption standards, and audit logging for secure operations.

·         Integrate monitoring tools and respond to infrastructure issues with minimal downtime.

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·         3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and DevOps environments.

·         Strong proficiency in Terraform, Jenkins, GitOps, and container orchestration.

·         Solid understanding of cloud storage, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.

·         Experience with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

·         Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident response workflows.

·         Preferred Qualifications:

·         AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification.

·         Experience with cloud stack or similar enterprise environments.

·         Exposure to Citrix, Azure, and hybrid cloud setups is a plus.
