**Description and Requirements**

Key Responsibilities:
**• AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management:**
o Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and other AWS services.
o Manage the configuration and provisioning of cloud resources, ensuring infrastructure is efficient, secure, and scalable.
o Monitor, analyze, and optimize AWS resource utilization and costs.
**• Linux Systems Administration:**
o Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.) across the cloud infrastructure.
o Ensure high availability and fault tolerance through the use of automation, redundancy, and load balancing.
o Perform security hardening, patch management, and system upgrades for Linux-based systems.
**• Automation & Scripting:**
o Automate cloud deployments and operational tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Bash/Python scripting.
o Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks, monitor systems, and deploy applications seamlessly.
**• Networking & Security:**
o Work with VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network ACLs to configure secure cloud networks.
o Implement IAM policies and manage security groups for controlling access to AWS resources.
o Perform audits, vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
**• Collaboration & Support:**
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Development, and IT Support) to address cloud infrastructure issues and improve operational efficiency.
o Provide L3 support for incidents, root cause analysis, and resolution of escalated technical issues in production and staging environments.
o Actively participate in change management and deployment processes.
**• Windows Knowledge:**
o Utilize basic knowledge of Windows Server to assist with hybrid cloud setups, troubleshooting, and configuring cross-platform environments.
o Work with AWS services such as EC2 for Windows, AWS Directory Service, and Active Directory integration.
**• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:**
o Maintain detailed documentation for cloud architecture, security processes, and systems configurations.
o Share knowledge of best practices and contribute to the improvement of internal knowledge bases and training materials.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
**Experience:**
o 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, etc.).
o 3+ years of experience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.).
o Experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure at scale in production environments.
**• Technical Expertise:**
o Strong proficiency in Linux server administration including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and system performance tuning.
o Experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route53, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
o Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls in a cloud environment.
o Experience in infrastructure-as-code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
o Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate tasks.
**• Basic Windows Knowledge:**
o Understanding of Windows Server administration (Active Directory, IIS, RDP, etc.) and its integration with cloud platforms.
o Familiarity with Windows-related AWS services (e.g., EC2 for Windows, Amazon RDS for SQL Server, AWS Directory Service).
**• Soft Skills:**
o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud-based environments.
o Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and provide clear documentation.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
