Job Description: Seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer who focuses on building
and maintaining AWS infrastructure for DoD applications, emphasizing
scalability, security, and performance. This engineer will collaborate
with various teams to enhance cloud configurations and automate
processes, playing a vital role in optimizing DoD’s cloud-based
operations.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructures for DoD
applications.
Implement security measures, automate operations, and use CI/CD tools.
Collaborate with teams to optimize AWS network and storage
configurations.
Develop scripts for automating network configurations and security
compliance.
Job-Specific Required Qualifications:
-Active TS/SCI clearance required
-1+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related
field. 5 years of experience in this field may be substituted in lieu of
the degree requirement.
-Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
-Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
-Strong knowledge of scripting languages, cloud security principles &
practices and Kubernetes.
-IAT Level II certification required.
-Must have AWS certifications or trainings in at least one of the
following certifications. 3 years of proven relevant experience may be
substituted for each certification.
-AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or training
-AWS SysOps Administrator certification or training
-AWS DevOps Engineer certification or training
Job-Specific Desired Skills:
-AWS Certified Solutions Architect
