We are seeking an experienced AWS Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, particularly ECS (Elastic Container Service), API Gateway, Terraform, and CloudFormation. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance of business-critical applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesAWS Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure to support business applications.
Manage core AWS resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, and related services.
Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and cost of AWS resources.
Containerization & ECS
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications running on ECS (Elastic Container Service).
Implement and maintain ECS clusters, services, and tasks for scalability and performance.
Optimize container configurations and resource utilization.
API Management
Design, deploy, and manage APIs using AWS API Gateway.
Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable API deployments.
Implement monitoring, logging, and ing for APIs.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.
Ensure consistency, repeatability, and traceability of infrastructure changes.
Content Delivery & Security
Configure and manage CloudFront distributions for optimized content delivery and caching.
Implement security measures such as SSL/TLS, WAF, and custom error handling.
Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls in accordance with security best practices.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance.
Automation & CI/CD
Develop automation scripts using AWS CLI, Python, or Bash.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates.
Integrate monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail) for visibility and governance.
Linux Administration
Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and applications hosted on AWS.
Perform system administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
Ensure security and compliance of Linux systems.
Operations & Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot and resolve AWS infrastructure and application issues.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement preventive actions.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience as an AWS Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in AWS services — particularly ECS, API Gateway, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Route53.
Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD processes.
Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
