AVP - Tech Lead
Description The AVP Tech Lead role is responsible for software development with a strong focus on AWS cloud solutions. This role will lead efforts in designing and deploying serverless architectures, containerized workloads, and automation frameworks. It requires hands-on expertise in AWS services and collaboration across product, business, InfoSec, and Data Architecture teams to define standards and deliver scalable solutions. Responsibilities: • Lead AWS-focused software development initiatives emphasizing scalability, security, and cost efficiency. • Design and deploy serverless solutions (Lambda, Step Functions) and containerized workloads on EKS. • Automate infrastructure using Terraform (IaC). • Collaborate with product, business, InfoSec, and Data Architecture teams to align solutions with enterprise goals. • Drive project planning, prioritization, and cross-team coordination. • Implement Generative AI solutions with AWS Bedrock and manage AI agents. • Ensure adherence to architecture standards, development processes, and quality practices. • Oversee full development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. • Maintain documentation and mentor engineers to foster innovation. • Drive project management activities, including planning, prioritization, and cross-team coordination. Requirements: • Strong AWS expertise: Lambda, Step Functions, EKS,Terraform experience (must-have).Python knowledge (preferred).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.Ability to work across teams and manage enterprise-level standards.Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills. • 5+ years familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform etc. • 3+ years of experience working with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, EKS, AKS etc. • 3+ years working knowledge of CI/CD tools along with DVCS e.g. Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins etc. • 3+ years’ experience with Microservices and RESTful services, JSON, XML, and RDBMS (PostgreSQL). Preferences: • Experience with vibe coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.).Experience with AWS Bedrock and deploying AI agents. • Camunda or any workflow automation platform. • Kafka for event streaming. • Strong analytical and leadership skills and ability to mentor resources • Experience working with Agile methodology. • Strong analytical skills • Deep knowledge of Core Java and JEE • Knowledge of CloudFormation/SAM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
