Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent related work experience required7+ years of experience in related discipline, project management and/or project investment analysis experience strongly required4+ years of experience leading, coaching, directing, and mentoring team members preferred

About the role
The AVP Project Investment Analysis will lead the team within the EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office) that supports our Executive's ability to make informed investment decisions based on new and ongoing project investment analysis and benefit realization.
This individual will direct the team responsible for conducting investment analysis and benefit realization and reporting key metrics to the Executive team. The team will support business owners and other EPMO staff with the refinement of the project business case in support of making sound investment decisions. The AVP should exhibit the executive presence needed to lead these interactions and will promote team member integrity and ethical compliance, building upon our established culture.
In this role you will:
Assist the VP of Investment Analysis with addressing project financial questions, issues, concerns and representing Investment Analysis in key meetings.Responsible for continually improving the capabilities of PMO staff, executives and business owners involved in making investment proposals and decisionsAudit financial models based on project business cases, including cost/benefits estimates, NPV and IRR on highly complex and large-scale projectsLead the design, development, and delivery of GPPM financial process training for the enterpriseFoster trusted financial business partner relationships with the project management community to bridge the gap between operational and financial processes, enabling project teams to achieve their financial objectivesSupport adoption of financial concepts and processes in alignment with industry best practices across the enterprise and ensure adherence to Global Project Portfolio Management (GPPM) financial process standardsFoster and champion, an environment that promotes trust, self-development, continuous improvement, innovation, and quality outcomesCoach team members to maintain a consistent level of quality, accuracy, compliance with enterprise project management standards, state and federal regulations, and internal controls
