As the AVP of Financial Crime and Automation, you will lead the charge in modernizing our end-to-end FinCrime technology stack through AI, automation, and intelligent workflow design.
This is about industrializing innovation. You will serve as the central acceleration hub, providing the scalable AI patterns and delivery muscle needed to transform our Prevent, Detect, Respond, and Performance capabilities.

Who You are?
You are a visionary leader with over 10 years of experience in Financial Crime, Risk, or Operations. You have a deep conceptual understanding of AI and automation and a proven track record of delivering large-scale change within regulated environments. Accountabilities:
This role exists to modernize Financial Crime capabilities through AI, automation, and intelligent workflow design across the end‑to‑end FinCrime technology stack — Prevent, Detect, Respond, and Performance. The position is intentionally designed as a central enablement and acceleration function that supports domain teams with scalable AI patterns, automation tooling, and delivery muscle, while directly owning and leading transformation within the Respond domain.The Respond domain is the primary execution engine of Financial Crime operations, supporting 1,600+ frontline agents. As such, it represents the largest immediate opportunity for productivity uplift, cycle‑time reduction, cost avoidance, and investigator experience improvement.This role anchors AI ambition in measurable outcomes by focusing on innovation where operational leverage is highest, while ensuring consistency, governance, and reusability across the broader platform.Enterprise AI & Automation Enablement
Act as the first‑line AI and automation enablement leader for FinCrime by:
Defining and executing a Financial Crime AI strategy that spans Prevent, Detect, Respond, and PerformanceIntroducing AI across the full technology stack, including:Case management and workflow orchestrationInvestigator decision support and summarizationProcess automation (RPA, orchestration, straight‑through processing)Model‑assisted alert triage and prioritizationGenAI‑enabled knowledge retrieval, policy interpretation, and QA supportProviding reusable AI patterns, tooling, and architectural standards that domain teams can adopt without reinventing solutionsPartnering with ED&A, Architecture, and Platform Engineering to industrialize AI delivery rather than run isolated pilotsSuccess is measured by domain adoption, operational impact, and sustained value delivery.Respond Domain Ownership & Transformation (Primary Accountability)
Lead the end‑to‑end modernization of the Financial Crime Respond domain, with accountability for:Driving process redesign and automation across investigation, escalation, quality assurance, and reporting workflowsDeploying AI to:Reduce manual investigator effortImprove decision consistency and qualityShorten case cycle timesIncrease throughput without proportional headcount growthPrioritizing initiatives based on quantified operational leverage, recognizing that improvements here directly impact on thousands of daily decisions and material cost basesSupporting the Respond product roadmap in partnership with Product team, defining the technology roadmap, and working Operations, ensuring alignment between tooling, process, and workforce enablement.Operating Model & Workforce Enablement
Ensure AI and automation are adopted responsibly and effectively by:
Embedding solutions into day‑to‑day investigator workflows, not parallel toolsSupporting change management, training, and capability uplift for frontline teams and leadersDesigning solutions that augment human judgment, not obscure or replace it without controlEstablishing feedback loops from investigators to continuously refine models and automationsExperience:
