**Job Title: Avionics Technician (Level IV)**
**Job Description**
As an Avionics Technician (Level IV), you will perform military ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) modifications on various aircraft, including C-12 and Bombardier Global. Your primary duties involve harness fabrication, installations, and the integration of systems on aircraft. You will provide Total System Solutions for Aircraft Modification, Maintenance, Primary Mission Equipment Integration, Operations, and Contractor Logistics Support, leading systems integration and full turn-key field operations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair, maintain, and install systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications, weather radar systems, and other instruments and computers controlling flight, engine, and primary functions.
+ Conduct inspections, make adjustments, and repair or replace components.
+ Correct any malfunction or deficiency with or without power applied to the aircraft.
+ Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs, and FAA regulations.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of modification experience, wire harness fabrication, and installation.
+ Experience working in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities.
+ Must have tools etched and shadowed.
+ Eligibility for security clearance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in harness fabrication, heavy modification, and avionics installation.
+ Background in aircraft wire harness fabrication and avionics systems.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted in a hangar environment and a 145 repair station, characterized by a fast-paced setting. You will have specific tasks and work orders to complete within designated timelines. Shifts include 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM, with overtime available. The dress code is standard, allowing jeans and a t-shirt with steel-toed shoes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, MD.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $48.00/hr.
