We are seeking an Avionics Installation Technician to support our avionics department, providing service and system upgrades for turbo-prop and light jet business aircraft. This role involves working with advanced avionics systems to enhance aircraft performance and safety.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and upgrade avionics systems on turbo-prop and light jet business aircraft.Perform system checks and troubleshoot issues related to Garmin systems.Crimp and connect wires accurately following blueprints and schematics.Ensure quality and compliance with industry standards during installations.Collaborate with the team to complete projects in a timely manner.Essential SkillsExperience in Avionics systems, specifically Garmin Radio.Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Familiarity with turbo-prop aircraft systems.Proficiency in crimping and wiring techniques.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Mitsubishi, Piaggio, Beech King Air, MU300/Beechjet, Cessna Conquest, Cessna Citation, Cessna Caravan, and Twin Commander aircraft is beneficial.Knowledge of Honeywell TPE331 systems and major service processes.Why Work Here?Join a team that is at the forefront of avionics technology, offering a collaborative work environment and opportunities for professional growth. Work EnvironmentOur facility is a Factory-owned and Authorized Mitsubishi Service Center, as well as a Honeywell Authorized TPE331 Major Service Center. We offer a dynamic work environment with capabilities for handling major inspections, heavy structural repairs, modifications, and avionics upgrades. Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch service in a supportive and professional setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
