Job Description:

Aerotek Aviation is seeking Avionics Technicians for their rapidly expanding team of dedicated team members in Northeast Philadelphia! This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking stability with a large, international company with a strong client base! Candidates will be on a contract with potential to then go direct. Candidates coming from out of town will receive per diem! Avionics Technicians will assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components for commercial helicopters. Final assembly helicopter line or flight line.

Job Responsibilities: 

- Read and interpret wiring diagrams.

- Coordinate with Shift Lead and Engineering on changes to blueprints and diagrams.

- Run and Mark wire to install complex wiring and electrical systems.

- Perform routine checkouts after work has been completed.

- Troubleshoot avionics system on board aircraft and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

- Perform lab bench checks, to include analysis, repair and calibration of avionics electrical equipment.

Qualifications:

-3+ years of civilian aircraft maintenance experience.

-4+ years of Electrical/Avionic aviation production experience is preferred. Military experience will be considered.

-Must be able to interpret and read schematics or technical drawings

-Experience performing inspections and heavy maintenance.

-Any model of civilian helicopter experience is a big plus

-Knowledge of rotary or fixed wing aircrafts.

-General overall knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.

-Must have valid driver’s license

Pay:

$35-42/hour based on experience

*Per diem package includes up to $160/day for up to 5 days

Compliance Requirements:

-Drug Test Required; Background Check Required

-No Licenses, NO PPE. No Medical monitoring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
