Schedule: 4x10, Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Avionics Technician in Piney Flats, TN. As part of the Aircraft Services Customization team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the completion of commercial aircraft by installing, testing, and maintaining advanced avionics systems. Your expertise will ensure aircraft leave the facility safe, reliable, and ready for flight.

Key Responsibilities

Run and terminate wiring, ensuring proper installation and connections.

Install and integrate avionics components according to engineering standards.

Assist with ring outs and verification of installed wiring.

Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Support other duties as assigned to meet project goals.

Qualifications

5+ years of avionics experience required.

FAA Airframe Certification preferred, but not required.

Ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently and team-lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, crawling, climbing, or stooping.

Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and visual acuity for precision work.

Willingness to follow safety protocols and ask for clarification when needed.

Pay Details: $23.72 to $37.96 per hour
