Bell's MV\-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH\-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities\. Work location is Bell’s FRC facilities in Arlington, TX **Avionics Software Team** This Software Engineer is responsible for developing a set of Integrated Modular Avionics \(IMA\) Software Applications related to the control of air vehicle components for the Avionics software on the FLRAA program\. **What you’ll be doing as a Software Engineer:** * Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications * Development of High level and Low Level Requirements * SysML modeling of software design * Perform Configuration Management for developed software **Qualifications** **Skills You Bring To this Role:** * We are hiring at multiple levels of experience, with a minimum of 2 years experience in developing embedded software, including hardware and software integration required\. Aviation experience is preferred\. * Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required\. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience\. * Requires C or C experience in a Linux development environment * Requires familiarity with software DevOps processes\. * Requires experience with Git version control system or change management systems\. * Ability to gain and maintain a U\.S\.
