Launch your new career at Hughes and seize the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the industry and exceed your potential. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist the program manager in managing the development, qualification, and launch of in-flight connectivity systems in compliance with industry regulations and standards. + Support the program manager with program documentation including maintaining timelines, risk registers and status reports. + Coordinate between stakeholders including customers, suppliers and other Hughes functions on basic timeline and cost management, and execution of routine program activities + Anticipate and proactively address programmatic, technical, and implementation issues that arise during project development. + Participate in PMO and process improvements that enhance the Program Management Organization. + Monitor project timelines and follow up with team members to ensure milestones and deadlines are met. Manage smaller scale projects within a program toward completion. **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, related field or a combination of education and experience. **Skills and Qualifications:** + Prior experience with linefit and retrofit programs in the aviation industry. + Proficiency in project management software and tools. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. + Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
