**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
**EchoStar** has an exciting opportunity for a **Project Coordinator - Aviation** in our **Hughes Network Systems** division. This position assists the program manager in leading critical programs in the aviation industry and is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and launch of solutions for Hughes. This position will be located in either **Germantown, MD or Lisle, IL.**

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Assist the program manager in managing the development, qualification, and launch of in-flight connectivity systems in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
+ Support the program manager with program documentation including maintaining timelines, risk registers and status reports.
+ Coordinate between stakeholders including customers, suppliers and other Hughes functions on basic timeline and cost management, and execution of routine program activities
+ Anticipate and proactively address programmatic, technical, and implementation issues that arise during project development.
+ Participate in PMO and process improvements that enhance the Program Management Organization.
+ Monitor project timelines and follow up with team members to ensure milestones and deadlines are met. Manage smaller scale projects within a program toward completion.
**Skills, Experience and Requirements**
**Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, related field or a combination of education and experience.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience with linefit and retrofit programs in the aviation industry.
+ Proficiency in project management software and tools.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
+ Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
**Salary Ranges**
Compensation: $67,000.00/Year - $84,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
