Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for maintaining clean shop areas including the chemical room, machine shop, and production floor to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes organizing shop materials and tools while maintaining 5S compliance. You will learn to select, align, and secure specified holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on various machines such as mills, lathes, grinders, sanders, drill presses, computerized engraving machines, and riveting machines. Additionally, you will assist production technicians in preparing aircraft parts for inspections using solvent cleaners, paint strippers, and media blast as required, and stage materials while ensuring machines are safe, clean, and orderly.

This position offers a 90-day contract with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role, receiving a pay increase based on performance. Employees are eligible for paid benefits and production bonuses, providing a rewarding career path with growth potential.
Work Environment
The work environment includes two shifts: 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm, and 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. All training is conducted on the 1st shift, ensuring comprehensive onboarding and skill development.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
