Job Description:

Parsons are seeking a skilled Aviation Fuel Systems Specialist to join our project team in Riyadh, KSA. We are a prominent aviation infrastructure development firm committed to delivering cutting-edge airfield projects globally. Presently, we are undertaking a prestigious airfield project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aimed at establishing new standards in aviation infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing:

Performs routine inspections at the project location which is a major airport construction program by anticipating, planning and acting on different contingency plans in the efficient maintenance of fuel facilities.Maintains fuel distribution system, to include storage tanks and transfer of fuel as appropriate to secure safe and efficient operations to include inspection reports of the operations for unusual circumstances to include: pressure changes, leaks, unauthorized personnel, etc.Maintain good working relationship with co-workers and project personnel utilizing good judgment in recognizing scope of authority. Investigate and adjust customer complaints and concerns regarding fuel systems maintenance.Diagnose and correct problems using test equipment, statistical, equipment history, manufactures specifications and industry related standards to avoid fuel spills or fuel facility related events.Maintains knowledge of relevant/ statuary / industry / GCC and Saudi Standards.Follow company and departmental safety policies and procedures and react to safety incidents should the need arise.Maintain records.Perform other duties as assigned.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and/or implementation of airport fuel hydrant system.Knowledge of airport testing and commissioning of fuel hydrant systems and civil aviation regulation compliance.Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, Arabic will be plus. Requires extensive knowledge of airfield construction-related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices.Ability to both collaboratively accomplish key Project goals and solve project challengesDemonstrated effective managerial capability is required, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to recognize when the plans and specifications are not being met and how/when to approach the involved parties (contractors, engineers, clients) to find the best solution for all.Ability to present issues to the client/owner with tact, while offering solutions or corrective actions which are in the best interest of the client/owner.Conduct himself or herself in a manner that earns respect from the client, Engineer/Designer, contractor and/or Parsons employees.
