AV Support Technician Location: On-site – Cambridge, MA Employment Type: Initial 6-month contract (strong potential for permanent hire) Client Industry: Real Estate / Corporate Facilities About the Role We’re seeking a polished, professional AV Support Technician to provide ticket-based, on-site support for a corporate office in Cambridge, MA. This role requires responsiveness, discretion, and excellent communication skills while ensuring seamless AV experiences for executive-level users. Key Responsibilities + Respond promptly to AV support tickets and resolve issues in conference rooms, huddle spaces, and executive boardrooms. + Troubleshoot and fix problems with AV systems (Crestron, Biamp, Extron) and UC platforms (Zoom, Teams). + Assist with meeting setups, ensuring equipment is tested and ready before sessions start. + Perform basic maintenance tasks such as firmware updates and system health checks. + Deliver white-glove support for executives and high-profile users, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure. + Document all service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately. + Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or vendors when necessary. Required Skills & Experience + Hands-on experience with Crestron, Biamp, and Extron systems. + Strong understanding of AV signal flow and cabling standards. + Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. + Polished, professional presence with strong customer service and communication skills. + Experience supporting AV in corporate environments. Preferred Qualifications + CTS certification (highly valued). + Experience with Zoom Rooms or Microsoft Teams Rooms. + Familiarity with AV over IP technologies. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
