Job Description

Position: Automotive Technician (non variable)

Reports to: Service Manager/Director

Automotive Technician Purpose: The Automotive Technician is responsible for reconditioning vehicles to the highest standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracyExamine vehicle and diagnose necessary repairsCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed partsDocument work performedRoad-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technicianMaintain high safety and quality standardsUnderstand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes

Qualifications

Automotive Technician Qualifications:

At least 1 year of previous Automotive Technician experienceOwn a set of toolsValid driver’s license and a good driving recordHigh school diploma or the equivalentManual dexterity
