Summary: Seeking skilled Automotive Technicians/Mechanics with expertise in various mechanical tasks and high voltage operations for a 2-6 months duration project.
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in disassembling dashboards including the removal of steering wheels.
Expertise in safety-critical screwing, to be documented.
Ability to perform hardware updates on air vents, seat mats and external handles.
Proficiency in the removal of driver seats as required for task performance.
Knowledge and certification to perform high voltage tasks such as exchange of PowerDriveUnit and HV cable.
Ability to possibly change entire charge port if required.
Capable of handling complex tasks like complete exchange of external handles if necessary.
Knowledge in applying fabric at specified locations to eliminate squeaking noises from solar roofs.
Ability to perform realignment of parts mechanically.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with software flashing tools and notebooks (provided by company).
Must have own tools for mechanical work.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform various mechanical tasks including but not limited to disassembly of dashboard, removal of steering wheel, hardware updates on air vents, seat mats etc.
Engage in safety critical screwing which needs documentation.
Execute high voltage tasks such as exchange of PowerDriveUnit and HV cable (must be certified for high voltage operations).
Handle potential exchange of entire charge port if needed.
Manage complex tasks such as complete exchange or repair of external handles.
Implement solutions for squeaking noises from solar roofs by applying fabric at specified locations.
Undertake realignment of parts mechanically when required.
Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
