Fountain Tire Rocky Mountain House is looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team!

Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair and complete service on customer vehicles as directed by work ordersComplete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience StandardsAdvise customers and customer-facing Associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirementsPerform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups.The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safeOperate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe mannerMaintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basisAssist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory countsPride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions:

A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewardedConsistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is requiredThis work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challengeThis role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

Qualifications:

Registered Journeyman/Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Required Out of province and CVIP inspection experience is an assetMinimum 5 years’ experience requiredA valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstractExcellent customer service and a great attitude are a mustA team player who takes pride in their work
