Job Description:

Job Summary
This position performs mechanical repairs, diagnosis and troubleshooting of LCV & HGV

Responsibilities:

Performs repairs on standard transmission & automatic vehicles.Maintenance & repairs of all UPS vehiclesCarry out 8 weekly safety inspections on HGV.Carry out diagnostics/troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical faults.Carry out yearly stock take.Complete online daily timecard & service historyComplete digital safety inspection sheets & Pmi sheets.Completed all CVRT & CVRT voluntary test with first time pass rate.Working to RSA guidance/standards for all repairs.


Qualifications:

Must meet local age and license requirements.B License required – C license - preferredPossesses complete set of hand tools.Fleet diesel experience - Preferred.QQI level 6 motor mechanics craft certificate or EU equivalent – required.
