Performs minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Troubleshoots, diagnoses and completes repairs on all types of company vehicles + Performs preventive maintenance + Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and waxing + Performs periodic systems checks and daily maintenance checks of automotive equipment for interior and exterior cleanliness + Responds to minor emergency mechanical issues + Ensures vehicle maintenance supplies and parts are ordered and in stock + Provides full service on equipment all seasons + Checks gas and oil on daily basis + Checks tire pressure daily and maintains proper air pressure + Cleans and maintains garage area in an orderly condition + Reports any system malfunction of automotive equipment to the Location Manager + Ensures compliance with MAPS/WHEELS programs + Ensures all vehicles’ licenses and insurance are current **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** **Education** + High School or GED equivalent **Certification** + ASE certification preferred **Experience** + 1+ years of mechanic experience **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude + Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record + Ability to work effectively with others \#SCI Compensation: Salary: $17.50/hr.- $25.00/hr.
