Job Summary

The Automotive Body & Paint Technician lI will perform auto body and paint support for programs. The Automotive Body & Paint Technician Il will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interactions.

As an Automotive Body & Paint Technician l, you will be responsible for:

Surface and paint prototype components and vehiclesMaintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair ordersKeep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshootingbreakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairsParticipate in daily shop organization and clean-up

To be considered as an Automotive Body & Paint Technician l, you will need:

High school diploma or equivalentNo previous experience requiredAbility to operate shop equipmentGood attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to read, comprehend and execute written procedures

A successful candidate may also have:

Certificate in Automotive Body Repair or relatedBody shop experienceAbility to work overtime as needed including weekends
