Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Digital Services and Analytics (DS&A). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manual & automation testing, particularly with Selenium, and experience in Java programming. Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and design specificationsExecute test cases and conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure product qualityIdentify, record, document, and track software defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issuesWork closely with software developers to understand product architecture and technical requirementsContribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and toolsParticipate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetingsProvide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding product quality and potential areas for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software productsStay abreast of industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar roleStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processesExperience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scriptsProficiency in both manual and automated testing tools and frameworksFamiliarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++Exposure to Selenium, IntelliJ, GITHUB, JMeterKnowledge of agile development methodologies and practicesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAttention to detail and a passion for ensuring software qualityAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred Qualifications:
